Akira Komatsuzawa

Position: Ouran Institute Newspaper Club President
Akira is in charge of the Newspaper Club, which, until recently, only served out tabloids. He never printed anything with hard evidence. He fakes an injury when a ball Tamaki kicks crashes through the newspaper club window. He takes the advantage to see if he can discover the Host Club's secret. He believes that Tamaki is being an idiot to cover up the fact that he is really a sly genius exerting his family power to do whatever he wants in Ouran. Akira, however, gets fed up quick with Tamaki's fun activities and is ready to print out an article that would hurt Tamaki and the Host Club. The other host club members, except for Haruhi and Tamaki, figure out Akira's plan and stop him before he can do anything.
Chikage Ukyou
First Appears: Volume 4/Chapter 16
Grade: Second Year, Class B
Chikage is a part of the newspaper club, and therefore, a lackey of Akira's. He tries to warn Akira about writing an article on Tamaki without proof, but Akira cuts him off.
Tomochika Sakyou
First Appears: Volume 4/Chapter 16
Grade: Second Year, Class C
Tomochika is a part of the newspaper club, and therefore, a lackey of Akira's. He takes the newspaper's photographs.
