Episode 19 - Roberia Girls' Academy Strikes Back
Japanese Title: Roberia Jogakuin no Gyakushuu
Based On: Volume 7/Chapter 31
Airdate: August 8, 2006
Summary: Wanting to surprise Haruhi at her house, the Host Club is shocked to discover that she's at Roberia Academy instead! It seems that earlier in the day, Benio, Chizuru and Hinako took her off to their school in order to strike back against the Host Club. The Zuka Club persuades Haruhi to join their special performance, getting her to act as a substitute for the girl who was supposed to play the heroine.
Meanwhile, the Host Club plus Ryoji are just outside the grounds of the Roberia campus, trying to come up with some way to rescue Haruhi. They infiltrate the school as part of the Benibara society (fans of Benio), and they spy on Haruhi as she practices for her role. It seems that she isn't meant for the theater as her acting is akin to that of a robot's and - as Ryoji informs the club - her music grades were horrendous. That's supported by the fact that Haruhi is actually lip-synching during rehearsal.
Then as the Host Club mingles with the real Benibara fans, they find out that if Haruhi makes Benio look bad on stage, the fans are ready to make her pay. They definitely have to rescue her now!
When the play starts, Tamaki is ready to take Haruhi off the stage, but Ryoji points out that she looks livelier than when she was in the practice room. Tamaki realizes that if Haruhi is trying her best out of her own free will, then they should just leave her be as it wouldn't be right for the Host Club to interfere. They decide to stay and watch the performance until the very end.
However, Benio's plan for vengeance against the Host Club is revealed towards the end of the play. She knows that Tamaki and the others are watching, and she declares that she will steal Haruhi's first kiss before he can.
But wait! What about the dance party with Kanako...?
