Episode 17 - Kyoya's Reluctant Day Off

Summary: It's the last day of summer vacation before the second semester of school starts, and Kyoya wakes up to find himself... in a commoner's department store?
After recalling events from an hour ago, Kyoya realizes that Tamaki and the others dragged him here after dressing him and basically abducting him from his house. They left him on a bench in the store, forgetting about the sleeping Shadow King because of their excitement. Kyoya plans on just calling for a car when he realizes that he doesn't have his cellphone or his wallet, plus he's hungry. Who should come along to help him but Haruhi herself.
Haruhi's a bit wary of Kyoya, since he's in a bad mood, but she also makes some observations about him when he is cold to the female fast food worker and a group of three girls. Kyoya says he's an egoist and that he is nice only when there are merits to gain. If there are no profits, then what's the point? Haruhi can't see why Tamaki and Kyoya are such good friends.
Kyoya is Kyoya after all, but when he helps an old lady from buying some counterfeit merchandise, Haruhi has to rethink her opinion.
