Episode 14 - Interview the Famous Host Club

Summary: The Newspaper Club, consisting of the president Akira and his two companions Tomochika and Chikage, are infamous for the false stories they've printed. The lies have gotten so bad that no one at Ouran bothers to read the school newspaper anymore. After Tamaki accidentally kicks a ball through their clubroom, they turn to the Host Club for a special spot in the paper in hopes of gaining readership.
Tamaki is quick to jump at the chance to help his fellow students, but Kyoya and the twins are another matter. He tries to pull rank on them but they still refuse. However, after much brooding and predicted puppy dog looks by Haruhi, the others are forced to give in to the wishes of their president, though Kyoya does set restrictions for the special feature.
The Newspaper Club is a bit speechless when they find the Host Club playing commoner games after they're allowed to do the special. Still, Akira suspects that Tamaki has a really dark side and is only abusing his power. He wants the dirt on the Host Club. Tamaki, however, remains blissfully unaware of the Newspaper Club's true intentions (the same goes for Haruhi).
The other Host members are not so blind, and they're not willing to let anyone get away with bullying Tamaki...

Manga Version:
• When Tamaki gets depressed after Kyoya and the others refuse to help the Newspaper Club, he's in his usual corner depressed, but he's eating cornies snack on his fingers because he thinks that's how you're supposed to eat it.
• The Host Club plays color tag.
• When they play Hide and Seek, Hunny is the seeker not Kyoya.
• Tamaki leads Haruhi to an old storage shed where they hide from Hunny, so as not to be subjected to his new trick, and it's very cramped - they have to sit close together.
• It does not show a rose garden maze.
• It is never specified how Kyoya has a disc of information on the Newspaper Club.
• It does not show the quick flashbacks of the members' memories of Tamaki. (The flashbacks, however, do come from the manga at a later point in time.)
