Episode 13 - Haruhi in Wonderland

Summary: Middle school student Fujioka Haruhi goes with her father to Ouran Academy to go through the admission procedure for the distinguished private institute. Later on, she walks through the campus by herself but catches a glimpse of something impossible through the open doors of Music Room 3. Is that really a moving stuffed bunny?!
Curious, Haruhi follows the bunny and trips into the hole it disappears into. After that, everything goes topsy-turvy as she finds herself in a world where the strange and mind-blowing can happen. First, there's an odd caterpillar taking notes in his secret files while on top of a mushroom. Then there's the Duchess and two mischievous twin cats. After that, there's the cake-eating rabbit, sleeping mouse, and the talkative Mad Hatter.
All ask her questions that she doesn't quite answer. Haruhi moves on from one to the other trying to find her way back where she came from - back to Ouran, where she plans to study, study and study so she can accomplish her dream. She's a bit mystified by the peculiar people she meets, having never met individuals so odd or intriguing.
But then why are they all so familiar? And is there something more these eccentric characters are trying to tell her?

*Note: This anime episode is actually an original storyline. The animation staff took the concept of V4C15 (Haruhi in Wonderland) and some of the character costume designs, but made a totally new story not seen in the manga.
