Chapter 71 is a little late, but is now POSTED. An update, albiet a small one. :) Baby steps, people, baby steps. I'm slowly getting back into my groove. Scanning is nowhere near complete, though I do have most chapters from 2009 scanned. Just have to clean them and such.
In other Ouran news, I forgot to mention the ad that was in the back of Volume 14. An Ouran High School Host Club Fan Book is coming out some time this Fall! I'm really excited about this. Vampire Knight's has been out for awhile, so I was just waiting for LaLa to announce Ouran's. ;) Volume 15 is also expected to be on shelves around the same time.

I am now a college graduate. University is OVER. Holy crap! What does that mean for this site? UPDATES! Not yet, but soon. I'm halfway through scanning. Now I definitely have no excuses for you guys. (Well, I'm now in the process of trying to find a job. *winces* But other than that...) Now, please excuse me while I immerse myself in all things Ouran. I can't give a solid day when the updates will be up, but I know, at least, that the latest chapter (Chapter 71 - exciting things are happening with Mori and Hunny!) will be up by the end of the week. Also, be on the lookout for Volume 12. I snagged my copy at Kinokuniya Bookstores - they're out on the shelves already (at that store, at least) even though the official street date is June 2. Keep your eyes peeled!
I'll repeat what I said before: Here's to me getting my act together. I love you, guys. Hopefully, I'll have something for you ASAP.

Okay, it's official. (Well, it's been official for awhile now, but you know what I'm saying.) I SUCK. I've let myself get behind on everything. (Just real life and it being senior year... *sighs*) And there's so many interesting stuff that's been going on in the manga, too. T_T Does anyone even come here anymore? *sighs* Apparently, all I have are empty promises. But I am DETERMINED to lock myself in my room this weekend to have a RAW scanning day, or die trying. Seriously. I'm way embarrassed with myself.
Here's to me getting my act together. I love you, guys. Hopefully, I'll have something for you soon.

It's still New Year's Eve where I am on the West Coast of the USA, but it's already 2009 somewhere around the world, so... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Unfortunately, only announcements right now. 'Cause I'm lame like that. T_T Anyways, for those of you crushed about not being able to play the Playstation 2 Game for Ouran (which is only Japanese!), a Nintendo DS version is coming out in March 2009 (which is also only in JAPANESE!). So why should you care if it's not in English? Well, for those of you who don't mind the language barrier, you can order the Nintendo DS game online and play it on your American DS. Unlike the Playstation 2 game console, Nintendo DS consoles are all region, so you can play games from all over the world. Yay! :) So far, I think the Ouran game is the exact same, so if you already played the PS2 version, there might be nothing new for you if you were to order the DS version. I'm not quite sure on that though, so stay tuned. ♥

The Ouran DVD comes out today!!!! Don't forget to buy it!! I should be getting my copy soon, too~! :) And though the release date for Volume 11 is officially Nov.4, I have already seen it on the bookshelves of some stores, so check out your local vendor to see if they have it in stock already. =0D

One word: FINALLY. I have actual updates for you. Actual updates. *weeps* I hope you enjoy.
The latest chapter of Ouran in RAW format has been added. I'm still in the midst of scanning the other chapters I've missed. My goal is to have them ready before the 24th of this month. Let's all hope I can make it happen. And no, I haven't been able to update the dead episode download links. Most of those links are SendSpace, if I remember correctly. Please, please, please just access MegaUpload if the SendSpace has expired. I just haven't had the time... T___T
Not to make excuses, guys, but I have a full load for my senior fall semester. I'm taking an overload of 21 credits aka seven classes. I have two papers and midterm this coming week. You guys have always been understanding with my situation, and I hope it isn't too much to ask for a bit more patience.

I hope you can forgive your webmistress for neglecting you. And while there may be no updates to celebrate your birthday, I'll give you all the attention you deserve after I finish my internship this Wednesday. Please stay tuned while I try to update the character content. After I return home this Sunday, and I'm back to my home computer in good ol' SoCal, I'll be able to actually give the updates I've been promising.
I hope all you visitors have been having a great summer so far. Keep up that Ouran love! And be sure to buy the DVDs when it comes out in October!

One of my external hard drives crashed. I lost nearly my entire collection of anime and Japanese dramas. I'm still looking into some solutions, but you can imagine how that would kinda make me lose my mind. >>;;
Enough of my problems, though. I'm sure a lot of you have already heard the great news! Finally, a date has been announced for the Ouran DVDs in the US. Episodes 1-13 will be out in stores October 28, 2008! And I'm sure you also want to know about the cast. While I don't have the webpage ready yet for FRoP, maybe this official video announcement from Funimation will tide you over... ^o~

Believe it or not, I am working behind the scenes to add more content. I'm specifically focused on the character and shipper sections. I'm also trying to scan (finally!) the LaLa chapters I don't have posted yet. I do have to acquire LaLa Issues #5 & #6 again though (I'll have to look through Japan auctions... *sigh*) because the post office repackaged one of the boxes I sent home from Japan and lost those two issues! GAH! *frustrated*
Anyways, I'll also be temporarily moving up to San Francisco for the summer because I got a summer internship position up there that I'm extremely excited about. However, once I find a place to live, the Internet question is still up in the air. I'll try to solve it ASAP so I can once again bring this site to life for you guys.

Unfortunately, only a layout update and drama CD update. After this upcoming hellish week of school is over (presentations, oral exams, research papers, tests, etc... ToT), I'll be working on character and shipper content. Not much to say, but I hope you enjoy what I have for you so far. Also, if you experience any problems with Version 10, send me an e-mail. I'm still trying to work out all the PHP kinks.

Before you guys all decide to brick me - I know, I know. I suck. *sigh* But, even if it kills me, I'm going to bring you an update with CDs and such by this Sunday the latest. However, Layout 10 is still giving me problems (yes, STILL *weeps*), so here's what I've decided to do - I will have an option where you can view either this current layout or Layout 10 (basically, I'll create an a welcoming page with two options...). This is just until I can figure out why Layout 10 doesn't look quite right in IE. Be aware that Layout 10 may still have a few glitches.
In other news, I just bought the latest LaLa Issue June 2008 (Chapter 61) and OH MY GOD. Spoilers are at my LiveJournal for the really big stuff - it's NOT a chapter summary. I might do a chapter summary later once I go back and review the issue over again. I was too excited the first time that I skimmed until the end. XD;; *is bricked* XP
P.S. And yes, I know, anime download links... ToT Please understand that it's crunch time here at Nanzan, so try not to be too upset... Oh, and the Ouran Novel is awesome. I hope VIZ translates it!

Quick check-in to tell you guys what's up. Layout 10 is still giving me headaches - it's working perfectly on Firefox and Safari, but not on Internet Explorer. >>;; Someone kick me now. ToT Once I find the code error and fix it, the new layout should be up. *sigh* But obviously, as the lack of updates can attest, my Japanese studies are taking priority right now as are personal family matters back at home. However, I'm going to try my best to get some updates for you guys (even though I can't scan *sobs*) as I finally received my Ouran Anime Drama CD #2 a couple weeks ago, plus there's the Premium Drama CD from LaLa Issue #5. Well, I've gotta study. I hope to update the site soon for you guys. Keep up the Ouran love~!
P.S. I'm aware that the anime download links need re-uploading. Again. I'll get to work on that soon. ^o^v Oh, and all the fanlistings should be up to date with members.

New release dates added. Layout Volume 10 is nearly finished, but have to work out a few glitches. I am currently converting the entire site from HTML to PHP. We'll see how that goes. >>;; *sigh* The new layout will most likely be up in mid-March, as I'd like it to premiere when I actually have new content for you as well. Cross your fingers. Ta for now!
P.S. Lately, I've rarely looked at the tagboard. Please e-mail me if you have questions/requests/etc. My response may be late in getting to you, but at least I'm aware of whatever problem you may have instead of being completely ignorant.

Wow, so much time has passed since I last had any activity here. T_T How sad. And I hate to say that this isn't a content update, merely an update of what's going on with the site and such. First off, the new layout is nearing completion. I still have to slice it and such, and then re-code parts of the content (meaning I have to go through each and every page since I use HTML and not PHP). And surprisingly enough, it won't be the column style again. Just wait and see. It'll have a winter theme though, which I'll probably keep up through February.
Once again, if a link is expired/needs updating, please e-mail me. I unfortunately haven't been checking the tagboard as often as I've had in the past. If you've e-mailed me recently, I have received your e-mail and I am aware of what links/content need to be updated. I'm returning home to America for winter break and once I'm back with my good ol' desktop, I'll be working on all the links that need updating.
My main priorities for updating when I get back to the US are the gallery (which means scanning!) and then updating all the character pages and such. A lot has happened since I last updated them, so I really need to tackle that section especially.

Added RAW chapters 54 and 55 - I was sent the chapters awhile ago (thank you Elan and Cappy!), and finally got into gear and posted them. Unfortunately, still a chapter behind. My deepest apologies! *bows repeatedly* There's really nothing new on the Ouran news front yet.
Once again, if a link is expired/needs updating, please e-mail me. I unfortunately haven't been checking the tagboard as often as I've had in the past.
I'm currently trying to design a new layout for the site, still with the column style though. So really, I'm deciding on a new header and color scheme. We'll see how that goes. Hope everyone's still enjoying Ouran! ♥ Later!

Yeah, so I'm currently very, very frazzled and way overwhelmed. And so flaky. But many of you guys know that already. >>;; I feel horrible about it, but there's really nothing to do but wait. I'm so very sorry about the not updating thing. Believe me, I know what it's like to be on the other end as a fan as well. It really makes me sad that I've had to put FRoP on the backburner while I juggle my life (remember the good times when Ouran the anime aired and I updated every week? *sigh*). All I can honestly say is that once again, I'm sorry for the wait and I hope you guys understand. I'll definitely try to make it worth your while when late December rolls around (for those out of the loop, having not read previous announcements, I'll be coming home for winter break so I can scan a bunch of new Ouran goodies that I've purchased in Japan, so the gallery is just waiting to be updated.) I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. *o*v Mata ne!

And just fyi, if you click on a MegaUpload link and it says 'Link temporarily unavailable', the link is NOT expired. You just have to revisit the link at a later time. The link is expired if it says 'The link has expired due to inactivity'.
My next update should actually have RAW scans from the wonderful Elan. I know, by now, most of you have probably found some other source but for those who haven't, I'm sorry about the wait. Just a quick hi and goodbye. Wanted to tell you guys that my Drama CD plus Soundtrack III CD update should be up by Sunday if all goes to plan. Also, please be reminded that the CD pages will be without scans. So sad. T__T Oh, and in my last update, I accidentally stated that Chapter 55 was in the LaLa #10 Issue. I was wrong. It's in LaLa #11 Issue (November). I'm sincerely sorry about the mistake. I love those of you who read the announcements and actually pay attention to what's going on. Without you guys, I think I'd go insane. Also, thanks to those who offer their compliments on the site. It's always nice to know there are still visitors, even though the traffic has obviously slowed down since the end of the anime.
I want to send a shout-out to the people on the Cbox who have made some kind comments recently: Hatsue (always, always so nice and great, plus helping to try and maintain order on the Cbox XD;;), Justin, Akachan, 4evaxlovin, Arisu, Maboroshi, SakuraBubble, e l i e, Riku, Surreal, etc. I'm sure I must have missed someone and I'm sorry if I did!
And once again, I must repeat myself. I won't get Internet in my dorm room until October 1st. Don't expect an update until then. The Internet I'm using right now is in the student copain, and while I can update the announcements section, I cannot upload files or such because of uploading time. Besides, even if I could, I'd rather not use a public computer for that.
I just bought the Ouran Soundtrack III yesterday. Most of it is a repeat of CDs I and II, since it has the character songs of each of the host club members. HOWEVER, there are some new goodies too. Soundtrack III has a new song from Tamaki (Miyano Mamoru) - love, love it!, the song Tamaki plays on the piano in either Ep.24 or Ep. 26 (I'm not entirely sure), and what everyone was waiting for - the waltz ending song in Ep. 26 as well. Yay! Yay! I won't get the CD files up until the first week of October (also, it will be without booklet scans -sobs-). However, I'm sure some kind soul in the forums will eventually have it up probably faster than me, so look around there. Oh, and the song Mata Ashita! has a new remix going on, but truthfully, I didn't like it. It might grow on me though - I'll have to take another listen.
I also bought Lala Issue #11 (November), which contains Chapter 55. And oh my god. It's been a long time since I actually fangirl-squealed aloud instead of just in my head. I don't want to give anything away, but oh my god. Geez, I'm being mean, aren't I? XD I'm sorry - e-mail me if you want to know. Be prepared for major spoilers though. (Someone has contacted me about scanning the chapters, and I'll be replying soon, so stay tuned - hopefully, I can bring you good news.)
Also, I found out there's going to be another Ouran Anime Drama CD! Yes! More drama CD goodness from the cast we love so much! -dances around-
Here's some more good news - I will be back in the States for Christmas before I return to Japan for spring semester (I originally was going to stay in Japan for Christmas). What does that mean? I can scan!! Scan, scan, scan! You won't have to wait nine months! Granted, you still have to wait a few months, though, but it's less of a wait...? Heh. Of course, there are other places besides FRoP's main site to get RAW scans, but I always like to scan all Ouran-related things, etc, even ads in LaLa. I'll have Ouran merchandise purchased at Animate plus the actual chapters and miscellaneous images from LaLa to scan, so expect late December/early January to be a huge update for the Gallery. -wink, wink-
Once again for the last time, don't expect an actual site update until OCTOBER.

Okay, here's the deal. I am in Japan right now, going through orientation at Nanzan University in Nagoya. I'm trying to get settled in the dorms and everything, so it's all very stressful. For Richer or Poorer, no matter how fond I am of my site, is not going to take top priority as it has in the past.
My Internet situation over here also leaves something to be desired as I won't get Internet in my dorm room until October 1st. That's right. October 1st. Don't expect an update until then. The Internet I'm using right now is in the student copain, and it always takes forever since a bunch of people want to use a limited number of computers.
I still haven't picked new moderators for the forums, and even once I eventually do, I completely understand if applicants who wanted to be considered then back out now. I'm not too proud of what a flake I can be. There is a winner to the FRoP Logo Contest, so check it out if you want to see what will become FRoP's logo. I have to send the prizes soon as well. Which is going to be tricky since I still haven't figured out the post office over here just yet.
Any expired links cannot be re-uploaded until October 1st as previously stated. Unless some kind soul sends me new links, I won't be able to do it myself for a few more weeks.
I did get the October issue of LaLa, but I obviously wasn't able to scan it before I left. But here's the part that really sucks. While in Japan, I will not be able to scan anything. There are currently no scanners I have access to, and believe me, I've been looking. So, if there are any kind volunteers who can scan the Ouran chapters and then send it to me, I would be much obliged. Of course, you'll receive scanning credit and such. Once I get back to the states, I do plan on scanning each issue myself, but obviously, the wait is going to be long if I do it that way. >>;;
I do have the files for the Lala Treasure Drama CD that came with the September LaLa issue. That update, however, won't come until October. I hate to repeat myself, but it seems most visitors really don't read the announcements. *sad* There's also another Ouran CD coming out September 20 here in Japan, so I'll be sure to have that available in October as well. I still don't know if I'll be able to scan the booklet though. *pouts*

Wow, it's been two years. O_O Crazy. I really can't believe it's been that long...
Anyways, this will likely be my last update for awhile. I'm rather sad about that, but I have to focus on real life (for the rest of August, at least XD). For Fall '07 and Spring '08, I'll be spending my junior year of college at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. My flight leaves on September 2nd. I have a little less than a month to get ready and there's still so much to do. So, this is just a heads up that the site might not have very much activity as I get ready. Also, once I'm actually settled in my dorms over there in Japan, I'll be focusing a lot on my studies as I'm taking this academic year to really improve my Japanese. It's always been put on the back-burner so I could focus on other things, but I really want/need to improve if I ever want to get anywhere.
I will be tying up loose ends though, especially concerning the forums. They'll still be active and I'm picking new moderators (yes, I still haven't done that yet *bangs heads on desk*). I'll follow through with the FRoP Logo Contest, picking a winner on August 28. Please continue to send in your submissions.
Most SendSpace RAW links should be re-uploaded by now - only a select few towards the end of the series are still expired. Download while you can because I don't know what my Internet access is going to be like when I'm in Japan, and re-uploading new download links is not going to be my top priority.
Fanbase submissions are closed for the time being. I've been extremely negligent in this area for a long time, so I thought I might as well make it official. *sigh* I sincerely apologize for it, but running this site certainly takes it toll at times.
Also, in case anyone hasn't noticed, Mischief-maker - the Hikaru character fanlisting, has been closed. I just didn't have the time to keep up with it and I hadn't updated in months. I sent a closed submission form to the Anime Fanlistings Network. Those interested in running his fanlisting should apply over there.
I really don't know what else there is to say... I do plan on getting the September issue of LaLa, and scanning Chapter 54 before I leave. That should be my very last update from the US later this month.

Oh happy day! The forums return! *O* Krysyuy.net works again! *sob, sob* I'm so sorry for the long downtime. I think I have an idea of what the CPU problem was, but not entirely. >>;; As such, the forums will remain at the Krysyuy.net account, while FRoP is hosted at its new domain - Ouran-Koukou.org! The reason being, if the CPU thing were to happen again, it would only affect one or the other, not both at the same time (*knocks on wood*). Please change your links if you have the main FRoP site bookmarked. *bows*
In Ouran-related news, which I'm sure most of you have heard by now, the Ouran anime has finally been licensed in the US! By Funimation. *o* Now this is a time to celebrate as Funimation is very good at what it does, and I personally wouldn't want the anime in any other company's hands. I'm praying that the casting director knows what s/he's doing. For those of you who don't like American dubs (and I know many of you are out there), I ask that you give the anime a chance when it premieres. Remember, it always varies - not all dubs are terrible. In fact, there are many talented voice actors who pull it off quite well (in my opinion). And if you don't like the English voice actors, there's always the original Japanese cast (*rabu rabu*) with subtitles! (Thank goodness for official DVD releases!) And maybe, if we're lucky, they might even have the little figurines that came with the first press of the Japanese DVD releases. Here's hoping. ^_~
But since the anime has been licensed, what does that mean for the anime download links? They will eventually be taken down. But I've decided I won't take them down until the release date of the first DVD (whenever that will actually be). Now this is regarding the RAW episodes. If Lunar wants me to stop distributing their subtitled episodes even earlier, I will comply with their wishes. For now though, I will keep them up. I also realize that many of the links are now dead. >>;; I will go through each episode page, and re-upload. However, please bear in mind that I am now at home, and as such, the Internet connection is irritatingly slow. It'll take longer than usual, but I'll try my best to get the links back up.
And to make up for the lack of updates, I don't have just one RAW Manga update for you - I have three! But before you ask, NO, the third one isn't Chapter 54 (it doesn't come out until 8/24/07!). The third chapter actually appeared in LaLa DX (a sister magazine of LaLa) for its July issue, and it is a special short one-shot. It's 10 pages, but fans of Yasuchika and Satoshi (Hunny and Mori's younger brothers) will be happy. ^_~ And if you didn't like Chika-kun before, I think you'll find him absolutely adorable now! It is definitely my favorite one-shot by far. The other two chapters are, of course, Chapters 52 and 53. 53 marks the end of the story arc that's been going on - hopefully this means Tamaki and Kyoya will return to us in the next issue!
Please note that this will be my last update until August 11. And long-time visitors should all know what that means. *o~ Yep, yep - it's FRoP's 2nd anniversary! ♥ ♥ ♥ I always try to make that a special event with many updates, but what with the recent problems with the site, I hope I'll still be able to make the deadline. *worried*

P.S. The FRoP Logo Contest is still going on and the deadline is being extended. Please submit your entries!! Also, the Gallery is still down. *sob* I have to re-upload the gigantic thing at the new domain. That is going to take awhile... *feels stress coming back*

I'm back! As is For Richer or Poorer with a new web address at http://www.ouran-koukou.org. Please update your links if you have the site bookmarked, etc. Krysyuy.net is, unfortunately, still suspended due to the high CPU quota. What does that mean? I'm not entirely sure. >>;; Anyways, the problem has not yet been fixed, but I am looking into it. As such, For Richer or Poorer has its new home here. The fanlistings will also be put back up one by one. The Forums, unfortunately, are also currently offline. I have the strong suspicion that the high CPU quota is due to the forums, so I have deemed not to upload just yet until I figure out the problem with Krysyuy.net. I hope to also reupload the gallery soon, but due to its size, I had to put it off to a later time if I wanted the main site up. Unfortunately, the Multimedia section is also currently down - I am uploading all the files up again right now. That should be the first section back up soon once all the files are back in place. ^^
I know many of you are eager for updates, but I hope you understand this is a very frustrating situation for me. I am aware of what needs to be updated, I do know that many anime download links need to be reuploaded, etc. Not only do I have my site duties, but there are many things going on in my personal life as I try to get ready for my academic year abroad in Japan. So time is short. Still, I hope to continue to bring you Ouran goodies.
I was able to obtain a copy of the August LaLa Issue, so I will scan that as soon as I can. ^^
